Coconut Grove Hotels to start operations in Kumasi, Wa, Tamale

GENERAL Manager (GM) of Coconut Grove Regency Hotel, Accra, Ralph Ayitey, has disclosed that management of the facility will soon expand its hospitality services to Kumasi in the Ashanti Region, Tamale in the Northern Region and Wa in the Upper West Region.
According to him, plans were far-advanced as first-class facilities were being put up in the three regional capitals.

Mr Ayitey said this at the Coconut Grove Hotels annual get-together and awards night held in Accra last week
Addressing the staff and their families, well wishers and patrons of the Coconut Grove chain of hotels, Mr Ayitey further disclosed that his outfit in 2016 undertook an exploratory visit to Monrovia, Liberia, where they added to their businesses RLJ Kendeja Hotel.
“I am proud to state that Coconut Grove Hotels has Ghanaians who are working in RLJ Kendeja Hotel, and sharing best Ghanaian hospitality practices,” he said.

According to him, the year 2017 was very eventful, especially for Coconut Grove Regency Hotel, but “we want to say a very big thank you to individuals and our corporate clients who supported us and who are really our reason for being in business.”
Mr Ayitey recalled how fire gutted GN offices within Regency “but within 24 hours, management with the unflinching support of Dr and Mrs. Nduom, owners of the chain of hotels, managed to restore services to normalcy.”

He thanked the owners of the hotel, management of York Properties, and his staff for their commitment and dedication to work.
“To our staff, we say a very big thank you to you for your commitment and dedication to work,” he said.
The occasion was also used to award some hard-working staff.
Coconut Grove Regency Hotels is a member of Groupe Nduom, a multinational conglomerate, which has businesses in the United Kingdom (UK), United States of America (USA), Togo and Liberia.
